Garros charged to his third win in Andrew Dale colours with victory at Albury on Friday.

Entering the final race of the day at $41, Garros settled close to the front before working his way passed stable mate Shiny Rock to salute in the Benchmark 66 Handicap (1500m).

It was the eighth career win for Garros and first with apprentice jockey Hannah Williams in the saddle.

Racing manager Frazer Dale said it was an impressive run by the eight-year-old gelding.

“He’s another horse who enjoys the wet, it was a good ride from Hannah and nice to finish the day with a quinella in the last,” he said.

Along with Shiny Rock’s second place finish, More Importance also collected a second in the Maiden Plate (900m), while Shadow Colour finished third in the Class 1 Handicap (1175m).
