Infiltrated has broken through for his maiden win with victory at Albury on Friday.

In his ninth career start the son of Sebring secured the $27,000 900m Maiden Plate.

The 3YO gelding was ridden beautifully by regular stable pilot Billy Owen saluting by three quarters of a length.

“He always travelled like winner after pushing up after the start to land just behind the leaders stalking the speed before hitting the line nicely,” trainer Andrew Dale said.

Infiltrated was a $30,000 buy from the 2021 Inglis Ready to Run Sale purchased by loyal stable client Mario Antonello.

Before Friday’s breakthrough he had shown glimpses of ability throughout his short career but struggled to put it all together.

“In consultation with respected Veterinarian Alex Tremlett surgery was selected for him after struggling with breathing and wind problems,” Dale said.

“After the successful operation he has slowly but surely come to hand both physically and mentally culminating in his breakout performance.”
