Andrew Dale Racing has added another horse from across the ditch.

The Albury based trainer’s newest addition, three year-old gelding Arthur Porrit, arrived today courtesy of New Zealand connection Kevin Myers.

Arthur Porrit is the second horse the stable has acquired from Myers in the past two months after purchasing Lawton Joseph in July.

Coming from Myers is not the only thing the two horses have in common, Arthur Porrit is also by the same sire as Lawton Joseph, Bachelor Duke – the group one winning stallion by Mr Prospector’s leading sire Miswaki.

The team at Andrew Dale Racing are excited to welcome Arthur Porrit and it’s another great opportunity for Andrew Dale Racings connections to get involved with the trainer who is fast building his reputation in the racing industry.

Myers first purchased Arthur Porrit at the New Zealand Ready to Run Sale of 2yo’s in 2015 where he breezed over 225m in a time of 10.65.

Highly recommended by Myers who has been impressed with what he has seen of Arthur Porrit inside his own stable, Andrew Dale Racing has high hopes for the three year-old.

Andrew plans to commence work with Arthur Porrit once he settles into his new home with a view to be racing come January.

Arthur Porrit is the fourth horse Dale has acquired from Myers.
