It was a quieter November compared to October for the Andrew Dale Racing stable.

We have had some horses spelling with our friends at the The Meadows Agistment in Greta West and others trying to find some form before 2016 is out. Our major race meets for the month were the Hay Gold Cup and Wodonga Gold Cup.

We took five runners to Hay and returned with one winner – Staretto coming through with the goods in a mixed day.

At the Wodonga Cup Shelbyville backed up his win in last year’s Ollie Cox Memorial with a third place run while Saturday Affair made her first start since June 14.

Footmark also returned to racing late last month after a short break at the end of October. The five year-old finished second to the Chris Heywood trained Hard Go Jo in the Class One 1600m at Wagga on November 21.

In a strong field Footmark once again showed us his talent, he is a nice staying prospect who we think has a big future.

Footmark hasn’t finished outside the top four in his five starts and will now take another little break before he comes back into work early in the new year.
