Andrew Dale has added his second young filly this year, securing Lot 125 at the Scone Yearling Sale.

The filly is by exciting first-season stallion Kermadec – winner of the Doncaster Handicap and runner-up to Winx in the George Ryder Stakes.

Regarded as one of the country’s best middle-distance racehorses, Andrew Dale said he was wrapped to acquire a filly by Kermadec.

“I was extremely fond of him as a racehorse and I love having a horse that can get over some ground and be better at age three and four,” he said.

Kermadec’s progeny have been extremely popular at major yearling sales this season.

Offered by Middelbrook Lodge Thoroughbreds, the bay filly is a good mover with nice size and scope.

Middlebrook Lodge also offered the sale topper at Scone, Lot 75 – a colt by Sebring.

The Kermadec filly will arrive at the new Andrew Dale Racing stables on Tuesday morning and will be educated by Wangaratta breaker Adrian Corboy.

Stay tuned for more information.

Comments: Nice mover, physically correct, good size and scope, will get better with time.
