Parliament scored his sixth career win today at Wagga in the Benchmark 66 Handicap (1800m).

Third-up this campaign, the five-year-old gelding has been placed to perfection by Andrew Dale.

“We pulled him out of Werribee on Thursday night and connections had to be patient but they were rewarded today,” Dale said.

After a steady tempo in the early and middle stages, Parliament was up for the fight in the finish.

“I know he’s tough and I was confident on the turn,” Dale said.

“The form stacked up from Bendigo with Aussie Nugget running a bottler at Caulfield yesterday.”

The punters didn’t miss out on Parliament, he was strongly supported from $6.50 into $4.60 on the New South Wales official price.

Parliament continues to build on his impressive resume with more than $100,000 in prizemoney after six career wins from 21 outings.
