Week review
Griffith
- Last Saturday’s Griffith meet proved to be a success with the stable coming away with a win and a placing.
- Dangers recorded his first win for the stable with a huge run in race four’s Class 1 (1350m). The gelding missed the start but recovered magnificently well to score a 4.8L win.
- Eamonn’s Memory ran a solid race second-up, finishing second in race three (BM50) but was five lengths off the winner.
- Rodeo Legend was the other positive result from the day, finishing 2.2L away in race one (Class 1).
Gundagai
- Sunday’s Gundagai meet saw Sheila go back-to-back, winning race seven’s BM66 (1180m) by a head. The mare has now won four of her past five starts this prep.
Wodonga
- Three gallopers went to Monday’s meeting at Wodonga.
- Mojo Music produced a credible run, finishing under six lengths off the winner.
Week ahead
Echuca
- Garros will take his place in race five (0-58 over 2100m) at Echuca tomorrow. The nine-year-old gelding has drawn gate 10 with Jack Hill in the saddle.
Wagga
- Sheila will be looking to continue her purple patch of form in race seven at Wagga on Saturday. The mare looks primed having drawn gate three with Kayla Nisbet booked to ride.
- Brenlyn’s Trooper has been dual accepted for Wagga and Seymour with connections to assess their options.
Corowa
- Tuesday’s Corowa meeting will see Biden (race one), Rodeo Legend (race five), Turnaquid (race six), Dangers and Eamonn’s Memory (race seven) in action.
- Dangers will be looking to build on a tough last start victory and looks a chance in the benchmark 58 handicap having drawn favourably in gate three.
- Eamonn’s Memory will likely be held over for next weekend’s Jerilderie meet.
New additions
- ADR has purchased two tried gallopers at a recent Inglis Digital Sale.
- Adelaide’s Diamond and Deploy and Destroy will join the stable as they’re targeted towards the Country TAB and non-TAB circuit.
- Adelaide’s Diamond arrives from Bruce Cross’s stable where he won three races from 26 starts.
- Deploy and Destroy was formally with the strong Keith Dryden stable with his most recent win coming in July where he won at Canberra Acton in a 0-57 handicap.
- While ADR doesn’t plan to take these gallopers to another level, the stable will try and place these horses in the right company which will hopefully result in a few wins.
