Week review
Wagga
- College Dropout notched up the second win of his career in race five’s benchmark 50 (1200m) at Wagga on Saturday. The son of Jukebox was given a peach of a ride from gate three by Jack Martin, saluting by half a length.
- Malabar Prince was solid in race two (BM50) with a third place finish, two lengths off the winner.
- Adelaide’s Diamond finished third in race four (BM50), a touch under four lengths away.
Corowa
- Wagunda impressed with a runner-up finish (0.5L) in race four’s benchmark 58 (1200m) at a juicy $6.50 for the place.
- Deploy and Destroy wasn’t far off Wagunda in race four, 2.4L away in sixth position.
Week ahead
Wangaratta
- Racing returns to Wangaratta and plenty of ADR gallopers are looking forward to returning to their home track.
- Hells Son kicks the day off in race one’s maiden (1170m) but will have to do it from gate 15.
- Manalore looks well placed to break his maiden from gate six in race three (1400m) after a strong run at Wodonga last start.
- Rainbow Thief and Mescaminto will run against each other in race six (0-58 over 1590m).
- Adelaide’s Diamond gets out to 2000m in race seven (0-58).
- Race eight’s 0-58 handicap (1300m) will see Legal Zou and Eamonn’s Memory look to continue their strong form.
- Shemakesastatement and Wagunda will round the day out in race nine (0-58 over 1100m).
Moulamein
- Country cup season continues with the team set to head to Moulamein Cup day.
- Malabar Prince looks a chance in race two’s benchmark 50 (1000m).
- Deploy and Destroy will take his place in race four’s benchmark 58 (1200m).
- Bellman will fly the ADR flag in race five’s Moulamein Cup , drawing gate seven with Randy Tan in the saddle.
Wagga
- Tuesday’s Wagga meeting will see Brenlyn’s Trooper have a crack at race three (open handicap over 1200m).
- College Dropout returns to the track of his last start victory and will be looking to continue his strong form in race seven’s benchmark 58 (1200m).
