ANDREW Dale Racing will heavily support Berrigan’s Finley Autumn Cup six race card on Saturday with a solid nine runners.
The family-friendly race day is a highlight of the Finley racing and social club and has been running for nine years.
“It’s always good to support these country cup meetings,” Dale said.
“Not only are they a good day out but it also compliments our strategy of taking horses to these smaller meetings where in most instances the stable has significant ownership in those horses.
“We’ve won three Finley Cups as well so it’s a meeting we typically have some success at.”
Malabar Queen and Sheila will kick the day off in the first race of the day, a benchmark 58 (1100m).
After Corowa’s meeting was cancelled last weekend, Sheila returns to the fold and will be looking to run well first-up after winning her last trial.
Miss Beautiful will attack race two’s maiden in her first start for the stable.
Race three’s class 1 (1200m) will be the stable’s best represented with three gallopers (Wagunda, Make Public and Berkinson) going head-to-head.
Make Public will be looking to continue her winning form after breaking her maiden at Carrathool last start.
Race five, the feature race of the day will see Dangers try to claim the Finley Autumn Cup from gate seven.
The final race of the day, a 1600m benchmark 50 will see Oodles and stalwart Garros in action.
