Progressive galloper Super Paradise continued his impressive form for Andrew Dale Racing, bringing up his second win for the stable from just three starts with a strong performance over the mile.
Ridden confidently by Brodie Loy, the gelding relished the give in the Soft 6 conditions and proved too strong late, scoring by just under a length after travelling comfortably throughout.
Originally purchased for $80,000 at the 2024 Inglis Premier Yearling Sale, Super Paradise was later secured for just $6,500 through Inglis Digital by stable employee, owner and long-time stable supporter Dan Semmens.
The gelding had already shown ability earlier in his career, finishing only a short margin from the winner in the Listed Geelong Classic during the spring, and now appears to be putting everything together for the Wangaratta stable.
Coming off a short back-up after contesting stronger company at Pakenham on Friday night, trainer Andrew Dale said the stable waited to see if the rain would arrive before confirming the start.
“We waited to see if the rain came and it did, so we decided to run. He pulled up without any issues from Friday night and the conditions really suited him,” Dale said.
The stable also said they were thrilled for Dan with his new purchase.
“We can’t wait to get him out to 2000 metres,” the stable said.
The performance capped another strong result for the stable, with Super Paradise continuing to build an impressive record for connections.
