Trainer Andrew Dale will have Chairman’s Choice on the quick back-up at Wangaratta on Saturday.

An impressive winner at Wodonga last Saturday, Chairman’s Choice is set to tackle the $25,000 0-58 Handicap, (1100m).

Jake Duffy will once again partner the gelding.

Racing manager Frazer Dale said Chairman’s Choice had pulled up well after last weekend’s dominant victory.

“We are happy with how he recovered from the run and I can’t see any reason why he won’t race again at Wangaratta,” Dale said.

“It looks an even race on paper and he will have a lot bigger field to contend with a maximum field of 14 runners.

“But we are certainly happy with the horse and expect him to be fighting out the finish if he gets his fair share of luck in the run.”

The stable will also heavily target Saturday’s non-TAB meeting at Berrigan with five runners.

Dale pinpointed If You Say So as the stables best hope.
