Exciting three-year-old Tabloid Star will resume at Albury tomorrow en route to the Albury Guineas (1400m) in March.
He will contest the BM58 Handicap (1175m) in his first outing since December 26.
Drawn in barrier 10, Tabloid Star will be ridden by Brendan Ward for the second time in his career.
“Brendan was keen to get back on him after being impressed with his run at Albury two starts ago,” racing manager Frazer Dale said.
“He came third on that day, he sat three wide without cover and did all the work to finish behind last start winners Halo Warrior and Shadow Company.
“He then went to Albury at his third start for us and finished second behind Northernero a promising horse for the Dan McCarthy stable.”
Thursday’s outing is the first of a three-run program leading into the Albury Guineas (1400m) on March 18.
His second run will be on Wangaratta Cup Day in the $35,000 0-58 Handicap (1300m).
Meanwhile, Rocaroyale and Wijdaan will also line up at Albury.
Rocaroyale will get another shot to break his maiden while Wijdaan will make her first start for the stable since crossing from the Randwick-based Anthony Cummings.
