Lawton Joseph will return to a the same track where he won at a similar time last year when he takes his place in the Benchmark 58 at Corowa tomorrow.
The son of Bachelor Duke was successful first-up at Corowa last September over 1400m with Jake Duffy onboard.
Duffy will again ride the six year-old and only rises 1kg on last year’s triumph.
Lawton Joseph is still only very lightly raced with three wins and five placings from just 16 runs, including a first-up record of two wins and two placings from four starts.
In a small field tomorrow, and with an expected good tempo Lawton Joseph should be hitting the line hard.
Meanwhile, Hurricane Jack will step out to the 1400m in what looks a nice race for the well-credentialed juvenile son of Snitzel in the Class 1.
It will be his third run for the stable and is nice each way chance from wide draw.
Arthur Porrit who looks to be hitting form at the right time also backs up tomorrow in the Benchmark 66 over 1600m with Jake Duffy riding at the nice weight of 54.5kgs.
Tomorrow’s program for Andrew Dale Racing is
Race 4 – 3.05pm Benchmark 58 1400m – Lawton Joseph
Race 5 – 3.40pm Class 1 1400m – Hurricane Jack
Race 6 – 4.15pm Benchmark 66 1600m – Arthur Porrit
