Three-year-old filly Luna Glide has delivered her maiden victory winning for Andrew Dale at Albury on Tuesday.

Luna Glide ($12) claimed race 4, the Albury Demolitions Maiden Handicap (1175m) with jockey Molly Bourke steering the filly home by a length.

Luna Glide’s first victory came in her 10th career start and fourth run at Albury where she also has one of her two second place finishes.

“I didn’t think to start off she was going to have the speed to cross, but it was either that or get stuck three wide, so I mustered her up there and once I got her travelling she travelled awesome throughout the run,” Bourke said.

“She just handled the ground and every time I asked she gave more, she definitely had plenty left at the line…she ran a really awesome race.”

Stablemate Darenay finished third to Luna Glide collecting the next best result for ADR-trained runners on the day.
