Andrew Dale Racing enjoyed a successful day at Holbrook on Saturday, with Tuscan War and Densetsu both finding the winner’s stall to deliver the stable a well-earned double.
Tuscan War broke through for his maiden victory in strong fashion, the three-year-old gelding by Anders showing good determination to score convincingly under a confident ride from Zoe Waller. The win was a deserved result for the young gelding, who has been progressing steadily this preparation.
“It was good to see him put it together on race day,” Dale said.
“He’ll take plenty of confidence from that win and hopefully we can build on it from here.”
The stable completed the double with Densetsu, who charged through the middle to score a much-deserved victory, bringing up his second career win. The son of Lonhro has been racing consistently and was rewarded with a strong finish under Brad Vale.
“He’s been racing well and deserved a win like that,” Dale said.
“Brad gave him a great ride and it was pleasing to see him finish it off.”
Andrew Dale Racing also had a presence at Morphettville with two runners engaged on the program. Brenlyns Legacy ran midfield in a competitive field, while San Marco raced nicely and will appreciate stepping up in trip in coming starts.
“It was a good day overall across both meetings,” Dale said.
“We picked up a nice double at Holbrook and both horses in Adelaide came through their runs well, which is encouraging going forward.”
The Holbrook double continues a positive run for the stable as the team builds momentum through the autumn period.
