ALBURY trainer Andrew Dale has one eye on the Albury Guineas after Pacific Tycoon won the Laser Eletrical Maiden Plate (1175m) on Friday.
The three-year-old gelding won by two and a half lengths with John Kissick on board, ahead of Verguenza and Shark’n’Beauty.
Dale said his his hopes were high for it’s future.
“We’ll look at a race like that, perhaps over 1400m would be something we’ll look at,” he said.
“He’s a nice horse, and he put the writing on the wall with a good run at Wodonga a couple of weeks ago where he finished second.
“We might have a throw at the stumps with the guineas, otherwise there will be class one or class two options to look at that will keep progressing the horse.
“He relaxed nicely across the distance today, so something like 1400m or 1600m would suit him.”
Hoop Kissick scored a race-to-race double with the win, after riding the Con Karakatsanis-trained Magicaz to a massive victory in race three.
