Destination Rocks has saluted for a second time under Andrew Dale, winning at Albury yesterday.

After second and third placings in his past two starts the four-year-old gelding gave Dale his first win for December with victory in Saturday’s Class 1 Handicap (1175m).

At $6.50 odds, Destination Rocks, piloted by Richard Bensley, beat a strong field to win by a just over a length in the day’s final race.

He now has a 2:4:2 record from 13 career starts.

“He was unlucky last preparation and we knew with the right placement this time out that he could change the tide,” Racing Manger Frazer Dale said.

“It’s the perfect start for him under a group of new connections and is great for all those involved.

“He won with authority today and I think there is better wins in store for him.”
