Saturday, September 27 brought three winners for Andrew Dale Racing with Eamonn’s Memory, Turnaquid and San Marco all saluting at Jerilderie and Grenfell.
Eamonn’s Memory claimed yet another country cup, this time adding Jerilderie to his CV.
Already the winner of the Carathool, Tumbarumba and Griffith Cups, he’s building an impressive country cups resume.
Josh Richards settled the star galloper midfield from a prime draw (2) before overrunning their rivals to bring up the gelding’s twelfth career win.
A stable favourite, Eamonn’s Memory was purchased from the 2020 Inglis Ready to Run Sale and has now taken his earnings over $250,000.
Eamonn’s Memory wasn’t the only success story at Jerilderie though, with Turnaquid taking out race three’s benchmark 45 (1200m).
The mare by Star Turn produced a trademark last to first victory to notch up the seventh win of her career, along with more than $150,000 in prize money.
Meanwhile, at Grenfell San Marco took home the Grenfell Cup with Cory Parish aboard.
Parish timed his run to perfection to defeat stablemate Parabellum in a thrilling finish to bring up win number 10 for the stable this season.
