Week review
Grenfell
- The nine hour round trip to Grenfell proved successful with ADR bringing home three winners.
- Crimosa kicked the day off with victory in race two (BM58), with Deploy and Destroy and Dangers taking out races three and five respectively.
- Wagunda finished third in race two by less than half a length.
Leeton
- Mojo Music returned to the winners’ circle in fantastic fashion in race six (BM58) at Leeton on Monday. The five-year-old gelding went head-to-head with Jay Peak Kitten down the straight but it was the ADR galloper that got the bob on the line to win his first race since July 2022.
Week ahead
Benalla
- Brenlyn’s Trooper will go to Benalla’s cup meeting today, featuring in race six’s benchmark 64 (1106m). After running at Leeton on Monday ADR has the galloper on a quick back-up in a bid to spark him into form.
Wagga
- Malabar Prince, Adelaide’s Diamond, Wagunda and Deploy and Destroy will head to Wagga tomorrow (Saturday).
- Malabar Prince (race one, maiden) has drawn a stiff gate (10) but the stable are keen to get a run under his belt early on in his career.
- Wagunda looks like one of the main chances in race two (BM50). The five-year-old gelding ran respectably for a third place finish at Grenfell last weekend and will be looking to improve.
- Adelaide’s Diamond has settled in well to his new stable and will run his first start for ADR in race three’s Wagga Picnic Cup. The new addition has drawn well, jumping from barrier three.
- Deploy and Destroy will round the day out in race six’s BM50 (1000m) and looks a strong chance fresh of a win at Grenfell.
New additions
- ADR has purchased three tried gallopers at a recent Inglis Sale.
- Raise Hell joins the stable from Danny Williams having won two races from 10 starts.
- Established galloper Bentley Magic arrives from Corey and Kylie Geran having already put together a strong career, winning six races from 55 starts for over $280,000 in prizemoney.
- The last purchase for the stable was Confessed who has put together a handy career for Kris Lees having run in 2022’s $500,000 provincial-midway championships final at Randwick. The six-year-old mare has win four races and placed on 12 occasions from 32 starts.
