  • Bellman was strong in race four’s benchmark 58 (1606m), just a length off the winner in second position.
  • Shemakesastatement continues to bang the door down with a second place finish in race three’s benchmark 58 (1406m).
  • Manalore wasn’t beaten by too much in race two (maiden), finshing fourth a touch under four lengths away.

Albury

  • Hells Son was once again extremely close to breaking his maiden but fell just half a length short in rthird position in race one at Albury on Saturday.
  • Mojo Music finished third in race five’s benchmark 66 and was beaten by just 0.26 lengths.

Week ahead

Oakbank

  • A team of five will run at South Australia’s Oakbank on Friday.
  • Adelaide’s Diamond kicks the day off in race four’s 0-56 handicap.
  • New addition Zofferella will run her first start for ADR in race five’s 0-54.
  • Wagunda will need to improve to contend in race six’s benchmark 56.
  • Legal Zou and Shemakesastatement both look like genuine chances when they go head-to-head in race seven’s 0-54 handicap.

Murray Bridge

  • Two gallopers will try their hand at Murray Bridge on Saturday.
  • Kiss The Bride will attack race one’s benchmark 72 and will need to improve.
  • Deploy and Destroy will feature in race nine’s benchmark 62.

Tumut

  • Tuesday’s meeting at Tumut will see six runners in action.
  • Malabar Prince, Malabar Queen and Crimosa Will all take on race two’s benchmark 50 handicap.
  • New acquisition Take The Bribe will run his first start for the stable in race three’s maiden.
  • College Dropout looks a chance in race four’s benchmark 50.
  • Rainbow Thief will feature in race five’s benchmark 50.
