IT will be take two for Forgotten Spirit tonight as she takes on the rescheduled Magic Millions 2YO Classic.
Heavy downfalls forced last Saturday’s meeting to be rescheduled with Aquis Park officials pulling out all stops to move the meeting to tonight under the stars.
Just three races were run on Saturday, leaving the two-year-old classic and three-year-old guineas to be raced under lights.
The Classic has been listed as race two on the card, set to be run at 7:03pm tonight.
It was a frustrating day for Andrew Dale who flew up to the Gold Coast to watch his slick sprinter in action last weekend.
“A few of the team and I travelled up there but it obviously wasn’t to be,” Dale said.
“We get another chance tonight, nothing changes – barrier 11 and Linda Meech is still onboard so hopefully everything goes to plan.
“The classic will be race two tonight so we won’t have to wait long.”
The track was rated a soft five this morning, while there have been no scratching’s.
After opening at $31 for Saturday’s edition, Forgotten Spirit has since drifted to $51 in the betting.
Peter Snowden’s Memo was the favourite at $6 on Friday morning, while Tony Gollan’s La Bella Boom ($6.50), who Forgotten Spirit finished second to last start, was also liked.
