After a fruitful March, April was even better for Andrew Dale Racing as the stable collected a sensational seven wins from 30 starts in the month.
Last weekend was significant for two reasons with the stable celebrating an incredible five victories across two meets, and by the end of Deniliquin on Sunday we had set a new career mark with 21 winners, making the 2020/21 season our most successful in our six and half years racing.
The record-breaking month saw six different horses triumph with Tabloid Star (first and last wins of the month) our one multiple winner, while four horses notched their first victories with the stable.
The month began with Tabloid Star and Namarari securing the first two victories – at Tocumwal on April 3 and Leeton on April 17 – before Mescaminto, in her second career start, and Submission, in his second start with the stable, saluted at Wangaratta last Saturday.
Those two wins were followed up by our Deniliquin treble, with Wijdaan and Diss ‘N’ Dat both breaking their maidens before Tabloid Star got his third career win.
Three different jockeys shared the spoils in April, with Nathan Punch leading the way with four wins including all three at Deniliquin, while Joe Bowditch guided two winners home and Billy Owen one.
Well done to all involved during a successful April and thank you for your continued support of our stable. There’s still plenty of racing left in the season so keep up to date via our social media and website.
