Week ahead
Benalla
– Sunday’s meeting at Benalla will see five runners in action.
– Youngster Jingu Express has drawn a sticky gate 11 in race two’s maiden.
– Chairman’s Choice will feature in race four’s 0-58 handicap (1106m) but has drawn gate 13.
– Newcomber Candocanto has also drawn a wide gate (15) but will try his luck in race five’s 0-58 handicap (1106m).
– After a string of positive performances, Hells Son will be hoping he can break through for his third career win in race eight. He has drawn barrier seven with Cory Parish booked to ride.
– Deploy and Destroy was dual accepted for both Benalla and Albury but will target Benalla where he looks an each-way chance in race nine.
Albury
– Four runners will feature at Albury on Monday.
– New addition Saywhatyouthink will run in race three’s maiden (1600m). The four-year-old gelding arrives from the Gelagotis stable after six starts for one placing.
– Lady’s Job Is Done will run the first start of her career in race four’s maiden (1000m) with Cory Parish to ride from gate nine.
– After a second-place last start in a benchmark 58 at Albury, More Importance will be looking to go one better in race seven’s benchmark 58 (1000m).
– Turnaquid will also run in race seven but has drawn an extremely wide gate 19. Being a backmarker, her racing pattern should mean a wide gate shouldn’t be too much of an issue.
Spirit Of Boom x My Girl Rocks
