Week ahead
– We’re two weeks into the new season and the stable is gunning for the first win of 2024/25
Narrandera (Saturday)
– ADR will take a big team of seven runners (plus one emergency) to Narrandera tomorrow.
– Parabellum and Bellman will feature in race two’s Class 3 (1600m). Bellman has show improvement in each of his four starts this prep and will be eyeing victory.
– Deploy and Destroy will attack race four’s benchmark 50 (1200m) and he should appreciate the shorter trip.
– The stable is undecided if Copperfield and Mescaminto will go to race five’s benchmark 50 (1400m) with heavy weights assigned. Apprentice hoop Brittany Button could be booked to claim three kilograms.
– Crimosa will tackles race six’s benchmark 50 (1000m) from gate 11, while Miss Beautiful will be hoping to gain a start in the race.
Albury (Tuesday)
– Kisimul Trust will jump from gate three in race two’s maiden with the five-year-old getting out to 1600m for the first time which will hopefully spark improvement.
– Shooting For Stars looks a solid chance in race six’s benchmark 66 (1000m), while last start winner Sheila will feature alongside her stablemate.
