Week ahead
Tumbarumba
- Eight runners will head to the Tumbarumba Cup as the stable looks to defend its crown after Eamonn’s Memory took out the 2024 edition.
- Manalore makes a return to the races and will be looking to break his maiden in race two (1200m), alongside Kisimul Trust.
- Noci Di Cocco drew barrier one for race one’s benchmark 45 (1020m).
- Rockbarton Shout takes on race four’s class 1 from gate five.
- Mojo Music and Kiss The Bride will be the exciting pair as they look to defend the stable Tumbarumba Cup (1400m). Mojo Music has drawn gate four with Billy Owen to ride, while Kiss The Bride has Brittany Button in the saddle from gate three.
- Miss Beautiful will be looking to continue her winning ways in race six’s class 2 (1400m).
Benalla
- A team of four will make the short trip to Benalla on Sunday.
- Jingu Express will be looking for improvement in race one’s maiden (1212m).
- Hells Son has been incredibly consistent but is looking for that flood gate breaking win in race four’s 0-58 (1612m).
- Chairman’s Choice will feature in race seven’s 0-58 (1112m), while Can Do Canto has drawn a wide 15.
Jump outs
- Several horses jumped out nicely on the course proper at Wangaratta last week.
- Mojo Music and Three Musketeers both won their heats, while Brenlyn’s Daisy finished second.
- Eamonn’s Memory also ran well.
Spirit Of Boom progeny
- Forgotten Spirit has gone to the paddock for a well-earned spell after a super first preparation.
- Our Forgotten Spirit x My Girl Rocks yearling is at well renowned horseman Adrian Corboy’s for her breaking in and pre-training.
Up and comers
- Tuscan War (Anders x Soleil Brulant) and Dubain Fountain (All Too Hard x Desert Realm) are back in work and looking towards their debuts.
Inglis Classic Sale
- The stable will be looking to purchase a yearling or two at Sydney’s Inglis Classic Yearling Sale. Mitchell Bloodstock’s James Mitchell will head up on behalf of the stable.
- ADR has its eye on Forgotten Spirit’s half-brother, a colt out of North Pacific.
Upcoming meetings
- ADR will feature heavily at Wangaratta and Albury on Thursday, February 6.
- The likes of Brenlyn’s Daisy, Three Musketeers, Copperfield, Lady’s Job Is Done and Wagunda may feature.
