Week review
- ADR enjoyed a day out at Narrandera last weekend claiming three winners.
- Vonk, Can Do Canto and Copperfield all claimed wins in a super day for the stable.
- Copperfield added more silverware to his CV taking out the Ardlethan Cup (1600m).
- It was a huge Saturday for the stable with 16 runners in action across three different venues, resulting in three 2nd place finishes, four 3rds and three 4ths.
- The three victories takes the stable to 39 for 2024/25, fast approaching another 50 win season.
Week ahead
Kyneton
- Six gallopers will head to Kyneton’s meeting on Sunday.
- Jingu Express kicks the day off in race one’s maiden (1218m).
- New addition Matter Most will run her third start for ADR in race three’s maiden (1887m).
- Three ADR runners will attack race four’s 0-58 (1118m). Turnaquid, Hells Son and Rockbarton Shout are set to feature.
- Three Musketeers looks the stable’s best of the day in race seven’s benchmark 64 (1218m) fresh off a maiden breaking win. He has drawn gate three with Cory Parish in the saddle.
Wagga
- Two will head to Wagga on Sunday.
- Eamonn’s Memory has drawn gate three in race four’s benchmark 82 (1400m). Pierre Boudvillain will ride.
- Sheila will take on race six’s benchmark 66 (1000m).
New purchase
- ADR purchased the full brother to Mojo Music at a recent sale. The Outreach x Chamber Music colt was purchased for a nice price and with shares selling at $250 for 10% or $150 for 5% he shapes as a great way to be involved with an in-form stable. Mojo Music has enjoyed an outstanding career, winning eight races along with $230,000 worth of prize money.
Jump outs
- The stable’s young brigade will enjoy jump outs on the course proper at Wangaratta on Wednesday.
- Tuscan War, Dubai Fountain and Brenlyn’s Legacy will gain much needed education.
Rushford
- Rushford has qualified for the $50,000 Picnic Final at Cranbourne after taking out the Alexandra Cup.
Brenlyn’s Daisy
- Up and comer Brenlyn’s Daisy has been sent to well-renowned equine surgeon Tom Russell for clean up surgery on her off-side front knee. The four-year-old mare had been pulling up lame after racing and After consultation with Mr Russell it was decided surgery was the best option. The surgery will put her out of action for six months.
Best of the day
