Rushford Picnic Final review
- Rushford had an unlucky run in Thursday night’s Picnic Final at Pakenham. The nine-year-old gelding and hoop Shaun Cooper couldn’t find a spot to settle from the jump but managed to run home well enough to secure fourth spot. The team at ADR are super proud of Rushford and can’t wait to see him continue to age like a fine wine.
Jump outs
- Five gallopers enjoyed jump outs at Wangaratta on Thursday.
- More Importance won his heat.
- Swamped improved dramatically from his last trial, taking out heat nine.
- Bellman and Deploy and Destroy ran credibly in heats one and three respectively.
- Fontein Forte was slow out of the gates in heat six but gathered and mustered well.
