Week review
Wangaratta
- Four runners took their place at Wangaratta on Thursday
- Jingu Express ran another placing as she continues to bang the door down on a maiden victory. The three-year-old filly has now placed in four of her past five starts.
- The ever consistent Rockbarton Shout finished third in a benchmark 58 (1000m).
- More Importance finished five lengths back in his return to the races.
Albury
- Friday’s Albury meeting saw Mojo Music and Bellman run well.
- Mojo Music looks to have found his mojo with a third place finish in race seven’s benchmark 66 (1175m). After a lean patch the six-year-old gelding is back enjoying his racing and performing well.
- Bellman ran a credible third, beaten by a length in race eight’s benchmark 58 (1500m).
Weekend ahead
Echuca
- Five runners will feature at Echuca’s meeting today (Saturday).
- Hells Son comes back to the 1000m in race seven’s 0-58 but has drawn a sticky gate 15. Hoop Ryan Hurdle will ride the galloper quieter from the draw.
- Brenlyn’s Trooper, Turnaquid and Vonk will go toe-to-toe in race eight’s 0-58 (1200m). All three look an each-way chance.
- In race four’s benchmark 52 (1400m), Wagunda will come back a grade.
Jump outs
- Five ADR gallopers jumped out well at Wangaratta on Friday.
- Brenlyn’s Legacy won his heat against three other tried horses. The stable looks forward to getting him to the races.
- Fontein Forte improved dramatically, winning her heat after missing the kick last jump out.
Youngsters
- The North Pacific and Profiteer and Outreach colts have all made their way to the ADR stable and have settled in well. It’s been great to see them in a routine and we look forward to seeing how they develop.
Upcoming meetings
- The stable will target next Saturday’s Jack Maher Classic meeting at Wodonga, along with Wagga Riverside.
