Reckless Bay’s first outing for Andrew Dale Racing has resulted in a maiden win with victory at Carrathool.

With just one placing from his first 13 career starts, jockey Bradley Vale was able to steer the four-year-old gelding to narrow win in Saturday’s Maiden Handicap (1200m).

Racing Manager Frazer Dale said it was nice result for the stable’s newest addition.

“He was up and racing and fit when we bought him and going down to a weaker grade he was able to have an immediate impact,” he said.

The stable placed in five of the six races for the day with Eamonn’s Memory second in the feature Carrathool Cup.

Legal Zou also collected a second-place finish with Little Jill and Froze Prince both running third in Race 1 and Race 6 respectively.
