The Andrew Dale stable will be out to extend its winning ways at Albury on Tuesday.

Dale will target the Albury meeting with five runners, fresh from landing a winner with Chairman’s Choice at Wodonga on Saturday.

Racing manager Frazer Dale felt Strawberry Swing, Mojo Music and Heimberg could all prove competitive in their respective races.

Lightly-raced filly Strawberry Swing will be out to go one better in the $24,000 Maiden Plate, (1175m) after finishing runner-up at Corowa at her most recent start.

Dale said Strawberry Swing will attempt for an all-the-way victory with Winona Costin in the saddle.

“Strawberry Swing is a free wheeling type who races best when leading,” Dale said.

“So we expect her to roll to the front and give a really good sight.

“She handled the heavy track last start at Corowa so that won’t be an issue.”

Stablemate Mojo Music won on debut at Corowa and steps-up in grade in the $24,000 Class One Handicap, (1000m) with Brodie Loy once again set to partner the gelding.

“It was a dominant debut win at Corowa,” he said.

“On paper, the Albury race looks to be a moderate affair and I expect Mojo Music to be fighting out the finish.”

Heimberg is a recent addition to the stable and is set to contest the $24,000 Class One Hcp, (1400m).

Loy will ride the top-weight who has drawn barrier eight.

“Heimberg ran well in his first start for the stable at Warracknabeal when finishing third,” Dale said.

“But the heavy track is the query.”
