Week review
– ADR recorded its 12th win of the 2024/25 season on Saturday after Brenlyn’s Daisy proved too good for his opponents at Wodonga. Jockey Brittany Button took her medicine from a wide gate before running over the top of the field down the straight to take out race six’s benchmark 58 (1200m).
Week ahead
Balranald
– Seven runners will head to Balranald for their cup meeting on Saturday.
– Vonk and College Dropout will both feature in race two’s benchmark 58 (1200m).
– Super View will jump from an ideal gate three in race four’s benchmark 50 (1750m).
– Two ADR gallopers will run in the day’s feature race, the Balranald Cup (1400m). Deploy and Destroy and Bellman will jump from gates one and 10 respectively. Bellman looked one of the main chances in last weekend’s Deniliquin Cup before it was abandoned due to rain so he will be looking to make amends.
– Stable stalwarts Chairman’s Choice and Sheila will run in race six’s Spring Cup (1000m).
Albury
– Four runners will also feature at Albury on Saturday.
– Parabellum will start the day for ADR in race five’s 2000m benchmark 58.
– Brenlyn’s Trooper, Eamonn’s Memory and Shooting For Stars will all run against each other in race seven’s benchmark 74 (1175m). Brenlyn’s Trooper and Eamonn’s Memory have been is strong form, while Shooting For Stars will be looking to bounce back from a disappointing last start.
Jump outs
– Miss Beautiful and Shooting For Stars had a jump out at Wodonga on Monday.
– Miss Beautiful took out heat 11 (800m), while Shooting For Stars had a tick over in heat 12 (800m).
